Phoenix received her bachelor of Fine Art from UC Davis where she studied painting, photography and sculpture under the tutelage of Wayne Theibauld and Jane Rosen. She has lived abroad and shown and sold her work in Australia, Colorado and extensively throughout Northern and Southern California.

     Phoenix takes her inspiration from nature and spirit. She is an ocean lover and surfer and related themes are reflected in her chosen imagery. She works in several mediums; linocut prints, pyrography, painting and photography.  Her focus is on creating work that captures a feeling. She loves to share her images and prices her work so that it is widely accessible.

     Since returning to San Diego, Phoenix has been a featured artist with ListenSD at The Lafayette Hotel and The Thumbprint Gallery at Art Around Adams, North Park Nursery, Bay Park Coffee Roasters, The Promiscuous Fork, Crush, Bikes Boards & Brews, PB Holiday Market, Societe Brewing and La Bodega. Phoenix's art is currently at The Gallery at Land's End in Pacific Beach, The Creative Collective in Del Mar and Red3 Surf shop.
